Activities
The Yellow Brick House has a variety of activities designed to meet the needs of all residents. Our monthly newsletter and calendar keep clients and their families up to date with times and schedules for exercise, devotion, church services, movies, entertainment, bingo and other games as well as joy rides. Special quarterly events include activities such as the Varsity Truck visit in Spring, Pot-Luck Dinners in the Fall, Summer Beach Party as well as Fashion Shows and special entertainment and a visit from Santa at Christmas.

Under Requirements for Residency
Potential clients must be eighteen and older who are able to ambulate with the assistance of wheelchairs, walkers, canes or independently. The State of Georgia requires residents be able to evacuate from the building with minimal assistance in case of emergency. The Yellow Brick House interprets this to mean a resident must be able to transfer out of a bed or chair with minimal assistance and ambulate towards the exit.
