Memory Care

In 2003, seeing a growing need, the Yellow Brick House added a secured Memory Care Suite for those requiring extra care when memory loss and confusion are present. The low stimulation unit features a warm home like environment with 14 private studio apartments with private baths, a common room, dining room, and secured outdoor garden area.

Services

The Memory Care Suite offers all the standard services of Assisted Living plus a specialized activity program and enhanced assistance with the needs of daily living that includes bathing every other day or as needed, incontinent care, special diets and assistance with eating if needed.

Staff

Our Memory Care staff consists of experienced Certified Nursing Assistants with extra training by the Alzheimer’s Association and loving kind personalities appropriate for working with dementia clients.
